Reciprocating CNC Diamond Wire Saw Machines

HarsMarg reciprocating CNC diamond wire saw machines store diamond wire on a wire drum and move the wire back and forth through the cutting zone. The motion is mechanically similar to the reversing wire-transport pattern familiar from fast-wire WEDM, but the cutting principle is different: diamond abrasive grains remove material by grinding, not by electrical discharge. This allows the machine to process both conductive and non-conductive hard or brittle materials.

The current reciprocating range covers QT5625, QT5632, QT5635, QT5645 and QT5655, with published X/Y travel from 250 × 300 mm to 550 × 650 mm. Published diamond-wire linear speed is adjustable up to 11.5 m/s. The listed wire-diameter range varies by model, so the required wire, abrasive size, contour and edge-quality target should be reviewed before a quotation is finalized.

These machines can be evaluated for graphite, optical glass, technical ceramics, ferrite and other magnetic materials, semiconductor and crystal materials, and selected stone products. Material capability does not mean that one parameter set applies to every job. Cutting accuracy, feed rate, surface condition, edge chipping, kerf and wire life depend on the material grade, workpiece dimensions, cutting height, contour, wire specification and wear, tension, coolant, fixture and measurement method. A sample cut is recommended for critical tolerances or high-value materials.

Select the model by X/Y travel, table size, Z-axis feed configuration and workholding space. Z-axis feed travel is not the same as maximum workpiece height or maximum cutting thickness; those capacities must be confirmed for the selected machine, fixture and wire path. Compare all CNC diamond wire saw machines, or review the H-series endless-loop diamond wire saw machines when continuous one-direction wire motion, higher listed line speed and greater process stability are priorities.
