This category covers HarsMarg CNC EDM drilling machines intended for projects that require programmed workpiece positioning in addition to electrode-feed control. The EDM process removes material through controlled electrical discharges and is suitable only for electrically conductive workpieces.
A tubular electrode and pressurized working fluid support the drilling process by carrying debris away from the discharge area. Machining results depend on the workpiece material, electrode diameter, drilling depth, flushing conditions and electrical parameters. Final hole size, positional tolerance and cycle time should therefore be evaluated from the actual part requirements.
The current DD703 specification table lists a 450 × 350 mm table, 350 × 450 mm X/Y travel and a maximum drilling thickness of 300 mm. These figures provide an initial guide to the machine’s physical working range.
Before ordering, confirm the complete controlled-axis configuration in the quotation, including which motions are CNC-controlled, how the electrode servo is specified and whether the proposed configuration supports the required hole pattern. Machine weight, power input and installation requirements should also be taken from the approved final technical sheet.
