HarsMarg CNC die-sinking EDM machines use CNC-controlled X, Y and Z axes for programmable positioning and coordinated machining. The current CNC300–CNC1200 series supports linear, circular and helical interpolation, making it the appropriate range to review when a job requires programmed multi-position work, coordinated axis paths or a more automated sequence than manual X/Y positioning can provide.
This is different from the ZNC die-sinking EDM range, which uses manual X/Y positioning with a three-axis digital readout and servo-controlled Z-axis machining.
| Model | X/Y/Z travel | Maximum workpiece weight | Maximum electrode weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| CNC300 | 300 × 212 × 272 mm | 400 kg | 25 kg |
| CNC450 | 452 × 300 × 272 mm | 500 kg | 30 kg |
| CNC500 | 500 × 400 × 300 mm | 1,800 kg | 80 kg |
| CNC600 | 600 × 400 × 350 mm | 2,000 kg | 150 kg |
| CNC800 | 800 × 500 × 400 mm | 2,500 kg | 150 kg |
| CNC1000 | 1,000 × 600 × 400 mm | 4,000 kg | 200 kg |
| CNC1200 | 1,200 × 600 × 400 mm | 4,000 kg | 200 kg |
Travel alone does not determine the correct model. Confirm that the worktable, work tank, fluid level and spindle-to-table distance accommodate the part, fixture and electrode, and check both workpiece and electrode loads.
The series uses a Windows 7–based CNC control platform with a 15-inch touch screen. The currently published common configuration is 9 kVA rated input capacity and 50 A maximum machining current; these are separate specifications. The current site power specification is 380 V AC, 50 Hz, three-phase.
Published material removal rate, surface finish, electrode wear, positioning accuracy and repeatability are reference results under specified conditions. Actual results vary with materials, geometry, cavity depth, discharge settings, dielectric condition, flushing and measurement method. Provide the target tolerance, surface finish and cycle time for application review or sample testing.
